Ms. Clancy stated that the dog officer said that there had to be adequate <br /> shelter, food, water and licensed with the town. <br /> Ms. harden suggested that if was possibly the way they presented the <br /> question to the different departments. <br /> MIs. Clancy disagreed and said that they had spoken to several different <br /> people. <br /> Ms. Warden countered that you think of dogs as pets. <br /> IVIS. Clancy stated that they were pets. <br /> Mfrs* Bateman felt that the name Notorious Blue Kennels" made it look <br /> more than it actually was. It was just sic little cages. It looks like a big <br /> operation on the internet, But, it was very, very small. <br /> Ms, Warden countered that they were selling pets, which made it a whole <br /> different baligame. <br /> Mrs. Bateman stated that she bought her poodle from a woman in <br /> Falmouth who has a male and a female. she breeds them every other heat <br /> and has three or four puppies* she puts an add in the Enterprise or the <br /> local paper. she went and bought a puppy. People do that. Her daughter <br /> does it somewhat more than that. When you think of a kennel you think of <br /> a big commercial operation, This is just a backyard, <br /> Ms. Clancy continued by stating that ghat they were trying say is that <br /> they did asst before they went forward with this idea. When they called <br /> that is what they said to themS <br /> MIs. Warden re-iterated that if they had elaborated a bit more about what it <br /> was that they were doing. They may have gotten a bit more of an answer. <br /> Mlr. Bateman asked what they would have said if they told them that they <br /> were going to be breeding dogs% <br /> MIs. Warden responded that it might have changed the situation.
