Review of New Restaurant Application - Bleu Mashpee Commons <br /> Ms. Warden stated that the Bleu Restaurant was formerly the Contrast <br /> the Commons, The head chef is new taking it over, His name is Frederick <br /> Feu Feu. She went over there today and did a final inspection. Mr. <br /> Harrington had been over their prior to this date. She had been over there <br /> also. He has replaced all of the ceiling files within two weeks and w ill <br /> have his floor stripped within three months times Other than that all of the <br /> previous violations had been abated. <br /> AAs. Grady was under the impression that the restaurant had just been <br /> remodeled. <br /> IIs. harden disagreed with her. <br /> Mr. Harrington interjected that they did do some work in the bar area. But, <br /> they did not touch the kitchen. <br /> Ms. Warden noted that Mr. Harrington had spotted the ceiling tiles and she <br /> had had it with the floor. It was no longer a clean washable surface. <br /> Mr. Harrington added that all of the vents were laden with grease and <br /> black rings around them. It was horrible, <br /> IVIS. Warden stated that the chef was doing a tremendous job. They had <br /> lot more confidence in this new owner. He did not have an alcohol license. <br /> Ms, Grady noted that they had just taken it away from Contrast. <br /> Ms. Warden stated that he was not going to apply for one right away. He <br /> would be opened tomorrow. They authorized hire to open tomorrow <br /> pending the board's Grote. They had given him two weeks on the ceiling <br /> tiles and three months on the floor to get passed the busy summer <br /> season. <br /> Mr. Ball asked if the board was happy with this. <br /> Ms. Warden and Mr. Harrington agreed that they were satisfied with this <br /> request. <br /> Mr. Santos asked if anyone was ServSafem <br /> Mss Warden replied that he was the certified person. <br /> Ms. Grady asked if they had to renew the certification. <br /> 21 <br />
