He was before the board to request three variances for a failing
SAS primarily because of the location of existing wells, It is an old
neighborhood without town water- Santuit Pond Estates. He was limited
to where he could put the system because this was a corner lot and the
location of the well on the abutting property. He played around with it and
came up with the 'IT" shape to get in between the 1001 of the well on the
property and the abutter's well. This well was not set on the property line
as most of them are. It was a third of the way over on lot. Therefore, he
was requesting an eight-foot variance from the sideline. He was
requesting a variance not to have a reserve area for failure in the future.
The third one was a 501 variance from the well to the SAS. This was an
upgrade of an existing home that was being sola.
Ir. Harrington asked Mrs Lantery if he had notified the abutter.
Mr. Lantery confirmed that he had notified the abutter, He presented the
documentation supporting this notification. He hand delivered this to the
abutter.
