}
Ms. Warden added that the agents gave the authorization for the
emergency ones right away. Mr. Ayers puts everyone else aside to get
F that one that was backing up repaired as quickly as possible.
Mr. Harrington agreed and thought that the selectmen were unaware of
the procedure.
C, Title V Septic Systems
Mr, Harrington updated the board members stating that letters went out
to the engineers and installers stating that they would be inspecting all of
the septic systems in October.
Mr. Ball asked if this would include just the Title V or the denitrification
systems.
Mr, Harrington replied that it would be all systems.
Mr. Ball wanted to key in on the denitrification systems because their
program was way off.
Ms. Warden stated that Dr. Mantel was working on that topic.
D. Board of Health Regulations
Mr. Harrington stated that the next thing they were going to do in this
process was to weed out all of the policies because the policies were not
regulations. Some of the policies need to be regulations and they would
determine which ones would be placed back in front of there for approval.
Some can just be left as policies and they will leave there as a separate
section as policies. This was the first step and he was extremely happy
about this because it took them a long time to get organized.
Mr, Ball wanted to now why it took so long. What were they doing with
their thee? Jolell
Mr, Harrington stated that this was the start to getting them into a
method of better understanding there along with enforcement,, They would
ultimately be placed on the website. They had many copied on the
computer already, Butt' they were still in the process of even getting the
older ones in.
E. office Hours
Ir. Harrington wanted to request a change of the office hours.
Mr. Ball asked if he had discussed it with his other two employees*
3
