Garron stated that she did net receive any notices last year, <br /> Ms, Grady stated that at the end of the month the report goes from each <br /> school to the BOH office listing all of the communicable diseases that had <br /> been reported in the school from strep throat to chicken pox. <br /> Mr. Ball felt that it might be something that they should be concerned <br /> about earlier than waiting a month. <br /> Ms, Carron stated that it seemed to be prevalent even though you might <br /> not know that you have it. <br /> IVIS. Grady added that on top of which, the problem with Fifth's Disease is <br /> that by the time you exhibit symptoms you are no longer contagious. <br /> There was no way to alert people. <br /> Mr. Ball just wanted to make sure that they were in the loop on this <br /> matter. <br /> IVIS. Carron Mated that he really didn't get ill. He just had fevers off and <br /> on. <br /> Ms. Grady confirmed that they don't get really ill. <br /> Mr. Ball stated that he thought this was a nice way of doing it. But, h <br /> thought they might want to do more, <br /> Alis. Grady felt that they were very diligent about notification of this <br /> situation. She really did, <br /> Ms. Carron agreed and felt that the nurse was overly cautious in these <br /> matters. <br /> IVIr. Ball stated that he was satisfied with Ms. rady's input. <br /> Mr. Harrington was reviewing his DPH books and noted that it was not on <br /> the list for the schools to report to him immediately, <br /> Mr. Ball's concern was that the notice recommended that they call the <br /> 1 <br />
