i F
t '
Mr, Ball asked Mr. Harrington.if he had any comments.
f
Mr. Harrington stated that just in these cases were they were less than
fifteen from the foundation. They have required that the foundation have a
membrane installed. They were going to excavating pretty much right up
to the foundation for the septic tank also. He felt that it wouldn't be too
much to ask since they were mitigating less than twenty-feet.
Mr, Sanicki asked if they wanted the membrane to be placed along the
foundation wall. The basement was about elevation 19 so it would below
that level.
Mr. Harrington said to scratch that because they were going to be below
the elevation of the basement.
Mr. Bali asked if there were any other concerns.
Mr. Harrington stated that he did not have any other concernsf
Mr. Ball asked FIs. Grady if she had any comments.
Ms. Grady stated that in the past Mr. Darrington had required that the
variances'be listed on the plans.
Mr. Harrington stated that the variances had to be on the fetter or on the
plan.
Mr, Santos stated that they were asking for fifteen feet. But, on the plan it
stated fifteen feet to the concrete patio. Was it consistently fifteen feet
across the front the house? He just wanted to make sure that he
understood what he was asking for.
Mr. Sanicki responded that the patio was an extension of the foundation.
It was just convenient to put the dimension there versus trying to show
the existing tank and the proposed tank. it was a convenient place to put
the dimensions@
Mr. Santos made a motion to approve the following variances: The soil
absorption system will require fine feet off of the property lime. The soil
absorption system will require five feet off the cellar. This was requested
in the cape & Islands Engineering letter dated 02.09.04. Ms. Grady
seconded the motion. Motion passed.
Mr. Harrington asked Mr. Sanicki if the abutter was going to attend or
anything.
2
