There was a candy shop there before.
This was a very similar setup to what was there before. Except they were
not doing the bulk candy. It was straight retail. They did have slush
puppies as far as the ice syrup, but no dairy. They did net have to get into
any testing as far as the coliforms for the dairy products.
M . Grady asked if they needed servsafe certification.
Mr. Harrington responded that they didn't need them because it was all
retail. They havb fudge, but they used plastic bags and showed him their
handling practice.
Ms. Grady made a notion to approve. Certainly new construction with it properly aligned.
Usually use start with your dentrification design and build out in both
ways where it would gest fit. He had a photograph that he would like to
pass along. Dight here there was a septic tank. This was right on the side
of the building where the parking was located. There was a systerwn with a
3500-gallon septic to a distribution box feeding three separate leach pits.
That was the design done fifteen yews ago. When it was inspected for
sale the systema was found to be in good shape with a clean tank and dry
leach pits. This facility and the house that was on the lot. There were two
passing systems. When these gentlemen got their letter they were
surprised and wondered how this all of a sudden happened. They
purchased this without communication from the former owner who he
thought was knowledgeable of the fact that a new system had to be put
in. Also, this was freshly paved a few years ago just before the sales. Not
only would they have to endure the hardship of a new system. But, now
your are into the parking lot and at system right next to the buildings
because the lot limes were at the edge of the parking. He was trying to
discuss with the board the best way to accomplish this task and how to
1
