The time was at 2:00 PM& Ms. Grady asked why they had to have a meeting at 2:00 PM on a Friday, afternoon. x Mr. Harrington agreed and noted that he could net attend, Mr. Santos stated that he found out tonight that the problems had already started. This was supposed to be an open meeting with the selectmen, the lawyers and the department heads to answer the questions, legalities and concerns. Ed Larkin, chairman of the charter commission, basically stated that he granted all questions in waiting by 10:00 SIM this morning. Mr. Harrington added that Ms. Dam! or Ms. Santos from the clerk's office told hire that they were net going to discuss how to revise or amend it. H didn't put it in writing to them because she told therm that the lawyers were already made aware that that would be a discussion topic, That was why he didn't answer that because that would be his only question. Grady had heard that they could challenge it because what it said on the ballot question the way it was worded it stated that "It would.not change any of these." But it did not say what it would change. Nowhere did it say that the BOH would now be part of the assumed into the town charter. It was a biased presentation of the question and information on the ballot itself. people were falsely led to believe that nothing was going to change. She felt that they could challenge this vote. she didn't know if they wanted d to challenge this and making it go back to a re-vote.
