s k Ms, harden added that Ms. Paparella was the town's first massage therapist. f ls* Grady interjected that they had someone who had approached the board within the past year that wanted to go to different places, He had said that that couldn't be done because it went against the current regulation. Ms. Warden asked if she was a nurse. Ms. Grady stated that she was not a registered nurse. she granted to ravel and Mr, Harrington said that there was a problem. Ms. Carron stated that there was a person who wanted to do massage at the fire station, Ms, Warden stated that there was the chair massage-on the beach that • the board denied. That was a request for a certain type of massage. Perhaps it was time for the board to open up the regulation a little bit since the tines had changed. It is quite a reputable profession. Ms, Grady did not have a problem with.that. Mr. Harrington didn't remember having a restriction from doing that. The only thing that he remembered from before was that they licensed a facility at someone's house. They went and made sure that the-home met all of the criteria of a licensed facility. He didn't know of any other restriction or law that would restrict that. Ms, Grady wanted to be consistent in their approach. Ids. Carron interjected that she remembered that it was a specific event that had to do with the fire station.or some dace; There was something about therm doing it at the event or providing massages at the fire or police station. Ms. Grady stated that it was somebody who did it for Falmouth Hospital .employees or something. They wanted to do it at Dr. Silva's office or the industrial park, It was a specific person who came to them. Mr. Harrington would have to look through the records, Ms, Carron re-iterated that it wasn't door to door. It was at another facility., somebody's place of business.
