4
a
Mr. Graci asked if they could tale that into consideration also.
Mr, Harrington stated that requiring it was easy. But, actually doing it in
the field was a needle in a haystack.
Mr. Santos interrupted this conversation. He felt that they were getting
sidetracked all around here. That was something that would be handled
on a case-by-case basis. They could always amend this regulation to
accommodate any charges.
Mr. Grad continued that some towns made them dig them up and raise
the inspection ports while they were there with the health inspector.
Mr,, Darrington asked what town made him do that.
Mr. Grad stated that Bourne made then do that and raise the inspection
port while she was standing there. if the torn was going to consider
doing that. He provided the
board the notifications for the abutters, They were requesting variances
from the street line to be aero feet. The leaching facility to the garage
slab to be six-feet, 101 was required. They were also requesting a variance
to the SAS to be within three-feet to groundwater, which was allowable
with the use of a denitrification unit, Basically they had an existing house,
limited real estate, and a 5 ' wide piece of property. They had this
backing into John's Pond and a BVw on the other side. so obviously if
they granted to stay away from the wetlands and the pond-side they would
go to the front side of the Douse. They did not have much to work with. He
didn't know hover to get around the variances to be truthful with then. The
party next door didn't want a denitrification. They had a system sitting
1
