r
i
i 1
i
for the pumps, It would last longer.
Ms. Bogucki stated that it was 230 volts. But, he.didnPt put the
horsepower on it.
Mr. Harrington stated that once again he hadn't had time to check on
because he had not dealt with the Holmer pumps* But, they were probably
three or four horsepower pumps, They were probably good size pumps.
They were larger than your half horsepower residential jobbers. They
were going to be big pumps, which would take a lot to keep therm on. It
was going to be a hell of a draw on power. The other comment was that
the size of the area for the nitrogen loading calculations. It was a g. -acre
site.
Ms, Bogucki replied that if they were talking about Title V acres it was
actually more than that The area that was included in the calculations
did not include the road.
Mr. Harrington added that that was the g.65 acres that was used in the
table.
Ms. Bog ucki concurred.
Mr. Harrington asked if there was going to be any type of groundwater
monitoring that was going to be done on the property.
Ms. B gucl i repined that they did not have that because they were not
going for the groundwater discharge permit. It would probably be an easy
enough thing to add if the board required it.
#r. Harrington stated that this property was over 600 GPD and the 600
GPD regulation required that a well down-gradient 101 from the property
rine would be monitored quarterly for total nitrogen. They just went .
through that with La Plaza Del Sol. They gave therm a variance from that
because their system was already an the property line. He felt with the
ruler nearby he thought that this was something they might grant to add
in. Again, this was going to be under piloting approval through the state.
They could recommend this to the state and have them add it if they
would like to do that. Piloting was already a pretty rigorous process with
long-team requirements. This was the first time that i itre c was going to
be used on a larger system. We erre going to be guinea pigs here. He felt
that it definitely behooved the board to cover all of their avenues
especially on the monitoring with the distance to the river.
Mr. Santos was in agreement with Mr. Harrington's position on this
1
k
