S +
S
were already exempt. All of the buildings were approved or exempt from
the DCPC even if it did go into effect. He didn't know if they were going to
do the rest of the town. 'then the only thing that would be affected were
the residents. since he was voted to go to this that was his report. He
didn't know if they wanted to vote before the next meeting, which would
be held before the board's next meeting, He didn't know if they wanted to
vote as a board'to agree and support the DCPC or pretty much leave it
alone. He was caught off guard at the first meeting. He had to speak
without prior knowledge. He spoke to Mr. Harrington ahead of the
meeting. The decision to have subdivisions be serviced by one treatment
system. That was something that he though would be necessary. They
were already pro-active with commercial projects having alternative
systems that had a 600 GPD, They didn't have to do anything. They could
do a little report back there. It sounded like they were going to move
forward on it. He didn't know how much assistance they could give theca.
Mr. Harrington felt that they could definitely get into it.
Mr. Santos felt that the discharge permits was out of their hands
anyways. That was pretty much it. He wanted to do his little report. He
was not volunteering for any more committees. He wanted to make than
into a motion. He made that into a motion. I am Steve Ball and I second .
that motion.
E. Bluff lots
Mr. Harrington advised that New seabury got their sewer extension
approved. He got a copy of the sewer line extension plan. He then got a
letter from New seabury. He probably should have put this on the agenda
because it was a letter stating that the sewer line would be adjacent to
one of the Bluff Lots by May 15', 2005. They submitted a request to re-do
the cabana and the swimming pool. He told thein that they were not going
to sign anything until they gave hires something on the Bluff Lots. They
said that it wasn't directly tied in. He responded to them that in every way
shape and form was it tied in because the cabana was part of the
Popponnesett inn. The Popponnesett Inn was the recipient of using their
septic system and staying open while their system was failed until the
sever line was installed. He received a letter from Bill Burke from New
seabury from New York saying that the line would be next too# At that
point, when that line was in place they could send notices to the Bluff
owner to tie in. Thea It would be in a gray that it abuts their properties, so
when each person puts it in it would be in that private way that went
along to each of the properties. He had already written a letter to Mr.
rotzke last fall.. He stated that he sent it around to the Bluff owners, It
stated that they were going to use the Mass General Laws to make therm
tie into the line. They were restricted on the number of bedrooms that
1
