k
Mr. Harrington noted that #21 of the recommendations was that they
consider maintaining a daily temperature log on file to ensure proper
storage of biologicals and refrigerated pharmaceuticals, it just said for
them to consider it. It didn't say to expand beyond that.
IVIS. Warden didn't know if they wanted to play with It or anything. But, she
would like to get this on the books because again when they do their next
inspections she would like to implement this as part of the inspection.
Mr. Harrington stated that they could send it up to the pharmacology,
board too, just to notify them that they have something stricter.
Ms. Warden added that if they were in non-compliance then they would
have some type of control.
Mr, Santos agreed with this 100%. could they send this up to the Mate
before the next meeting and vote on it at the next meeting?
Ms. Grady wanted to have time to go through this.
Ms. Warden stated that they might want to add or remove something from
the regulation.
Mr. Farrington said that they could submit it-up to the Mete for feedback.
IIT. Grady felt that they should wait until all of the board members had
reviewed the regulation, made comments and then send it up for review
and feedback.
Mr.. Santos felt that having the response from the state would only assist
the board In implementing this regulation.
Mr. Harrington stated that It only had to be posted once after it was voted
on.
Mr. Santos wanted to send a notification to the pharmacies ahead of time
and give them a chance to cone in and discuss it.
Mr. Harrington agreed and suggested that they be notified and appeal it
properly.
Mr. Santos felt that this was a great idea.
Ms. Warden was hoping that this might push the other towns.
1
