1 I
I
I
Ms. Billings stated that it was appointment-only for an initial
consultation. After that there would be an appointment so that they could
cone right in. They could wait in the Sunsational Tanning area too. They
were kind of going back and forth right now because she wasn't sure if
she would be in the salon in a blocked-off area or in an area in the back.
They were unsure if they were.going to use that area or not. It would be
one or another. But, it would be a separate area. But, it would have a
shared waiting area.
Ms. Warden asked if she could let Tracy know that more than likely she
knew the area she was speaking of in.the rear. she thought there should
b a more practical area that she would be array from the public.
M . Billings stated that they would love than. But, they had to get the
landlord ort.board. she thought he wanted to rent that area out to
someone else who was seeking a hair salon right new.
Ms. Warden asked if it was down the hallway to the left.
IIT. Billings confirmed that that was corrects she was going to take it
back and wall it up for a hair salon than was going to tjo in there. If it fell
through he would be more than happy to let her use it.'But, his current
plan was net to have her use it initially, she met with Tracy yesterday.
She needed to have the 45 square foot according to the Massachusetts
legislature. They figured it out. They could still have a sterile area that
mould be aware from the other tanners, They would have a shared
waiting area. They went through all of the regulations that the draft from
Massachusetts put out. They wanted to make wire that everything was
up to code on that. It looped like it was possible within the salon.
Ms. Marden asked about the containment of the bodily fluids, cloths and
things like. Where would that be disposed of
Ms. Billings replied that it.was very minimal bleeding, It was not bio-
hazardous material, really. she would put it in a container and after each
procedure she would take it with her. If it were household trash she
mould dispose of that,, If it was bio-hazardous say if she had a bloody
procedure it would go in a red bag, double-bagged and then taken to.the
New England Medical center where the ha mat people told her that they
would dispose of it for her.
Ms, Warden asked how often would she be disposing the sharps
containers.
2
