1
when she went to Falmouth, it carte back negative she had been
vaccinated for it, But, it didn't last. she had the first series and she will
received the next one in two weeks,
Ms. Santos stated that it should be thirty days after the first one. the
regulation required that a person receive a Hepatitis B vaccination, she
had documentation that she had had in the past. But, in truth she was not
corning up with a positive titer*
Mr. Santos was very familiar in dealing with pathological and medical
waste, infectious waste, Basically the company that he worked for
through the state and federal regulations required that they have a
second.vaccination before you could be around that type of material.
That had to be a requirement.
IIT* Billings stated that she would complete that nett week.
Mr. Santos was also concerned with the room at surnsational Tanning. H
would life to.see this room designated for her use only. He was aware
that she would clean and sanitize. This establishment would have to b
licensed as a body'art facility. It would be put through the inspection
process. He understood what she was trying to do. His concern was with
the transportation of infectious waste. Transporting that in her own
personal vehicle and bringing it hack to another medical facility.
Mr. Harrington interjected that he wanted to check the regulations on
that too. He felt that there were specific regulations on waste disposal.
He hadn't looked at those in awhile. He would have to look at those.
Mr. Santos felt that even the sharps company would come in and give
them another canister. He felt that he was probably telling her what she
already knew. But, what he was trying to say was that it was a CYA for
them as the board of health; He felt that it was a CYA for her as well. Any'
waste that was being removed should be clone by someone who las
licensed.
Ms. Billings stated that she could certainly look into that.
Mr,. Santos continued by stating that she would have documentation that
outlined that anything coming from her facility would be properly
disposed of. it would be like the cradle to grave law that they had for
hazardous waste. It was something he would like to have both her and
Mr. Harrington check into so that that would have something in place.
The last thing she needed was someone accusing her of a failure to
process.it correctly. 4
