I
I
a
I
. bequest for Alarmed Thermometer for Refrigerator in BOH Office
Mr. Harrington began by stating that they had recently had an audit by the state
regarding the vaccines. They have an alarm thermometer on the refrigerator. But,
right now for example, say it went out Friday night and they have already left for the
day and the weekend. There was nothing else that would alert there to the problem
until 48 hours later until they cone in Monday to determine if the vaccines were had
or not. He asked lay Martini, the building superintendent, to get some prices for an
alarm that would alert ire of the board of health members. For $300.00 they could
get an alarm that was actually tial into a notification service that the building
already had that would notify either himself or Ms. warden or whomever they
would want to put on the alert. This would allow them to go through their protocols
and bring there to the DPW. or at least get the stuff into a refrigerated area.
Mr. Ball didn't have any problems with this request. But, he wondered if it shouldn't
be tied into the fire station too.
Mr. Harrington stated that this service would call us. It didn't have to get through the
fire station.
Mr. Ball continued by stating that if they couldn't get in touch with any ofthen.
Who would they call?
Mr. Harrington wasn't sure how the service would work. But, he would review it
with Mr. Martini. He would think that they would go down the line until they got a
hold ofsomebody.
Ms. warden stated that they would talo the cost out ofthe professional technical
account. 'There was the only one available with some reserve money.
Mr. Harrington stated that this was not required by the stag. They passed the audit
with flying colors. But, they really would have no idea other than coming in and
seeing a beeping alarm. They would have no idea when it would go off. It wasn't
based on time.
Ms. Grady asked if there were any other comments.
Mr. Ball made a notion to request information regarding an alarm thermometer for
the refrigerator. Mr. Santos seconded the motion. Motion passed.
APPOINTMENT: Michael trot ke, Phoenix Groep-95 whippoorwill load
Mr. tarot ke was present representing Mr. Konikowski the applicant. He apologized
again for the misunderstanding before the board for not having been at the last
meeting waiting for him to appear. This was a continuation of a hearing several
weeks ago. They had a proposed upgrade to an existing system. He brought and `
handed out extra copies of the plan. They were proposing to upgrade the septic
system to meet the existing configuration of the building that was four-bedrooms
6
