Mr. Harrington had one thing and it was for Ms. Grady. It was MAHB certification <br /> and training if she was interested. <br /> Ms. Grady asked if she could do this ori-lime. ls that what this said? There wa's n <br /> pre-requisite for taking the certification program? <br /> Mr. Harrington stated that there was no pre-requisite. <br /> Ms. Grady stated that her problem was that the classes were always on Saturday. She <br /> worked through Friday might. <br /> Mr. Harrington stated that he had not seen any class schedules yet. But, they would <br /> keep her posted when something shoved up. <br /> B. Dr. Levis Mantel <br /> Mr. Harrington stated that Dr. Mantel's father died. He was the hoard volunteer and <br /> consultant. <br /> C. -lav requirimiz that the to es he saved <br /> Mr..Harrington stated that the Attorney General had now cleared the by-lav <br /> requiring that the tapes he saved. They would have to he saved for a three-year <br /> period. <br /> Ms. Carron asked.when the start date would he. <br /> Mr. Harrington replied that Ms. Santos was going to send out the memo.But, it had <br /> already been approved so they should start doing it now. He felt that it was <br /> considered effective now. <br /> I . Syringe Disposal <br /> Mr. Harrington stated that they were moving for-ward with Catherine Laurent of the <br /> DPW. They should have a pr grarm created to present to the board shortly. They may <br /> get some cooperation,, not so much from the transfer station,but possibly right at the <br /> DPW-. Also, they were still working at the disposal portion of it at the hazardous <br /> waste clays. Ms. Laurent stated that she didn't mind storing therm at the facility. <br /> Mr. Santos stated that they would have to have trained people there to receive therm. <br /> Mr. Harrington stated that he didn't feel that they needed to have trained people. <br /> Mr. Santos stated that they had to have the proper training for the handling. <br /> Mr. Harrington felt that there wouldn't he any handling involved. They would be <br /> corning hack in the sharp's containers already. What they were trying to do now was <br /> trying to determine if they could sell the containers and work out the money portion <br /> f the issue. It wasn't going to take a lot of money to start because the containers <br /> 1 <br />
