Request west for Food Establishment Permit: Patrick Moloney, Hillside <br /> Foods warehouse <br /> Mr. Harrington began by stating that the building department was investigating the <br /> compliance issues with the property at 628 Main Street. They went to the site with <br /> the assistant fire chief, Sheldon Hamblin. They-went through four bays with one <br /> unit. It was Cape Cod Embroidery, which was owned by Lance Larnbros. They also <br /> learned that there were other units that were lower units in behind the building. 11r. <br /> Moloney had Hillside Foods. It was one bay that he had outfitted for frozen storage. <br /> It had a desk with regular concrete Boors. He asked Mr. Moloney how big the <br /> freezer was at this point in time. <br /> Mr. Moloney stated that it was an ' x 14' walk-in. <br /> Mr. Harrington and IVIS. warden went back and did an inspection with Mr. Moloney. <br /> y <br /> They didn't have any problem with the set-up itself.'It was a nice set-up. Actually he <br /> had an alarm system that called him when the temperature went down below. T ey <br /> inspected the mobile truck, which he has and was a state of the art frozen food <br /> mobile truer. He notified him to come in and fill out the application arra pay the <br /> money, which he did. They needed to approve the food establishment permit, which <br /> was required for the storage of food. He asked Mr. Moloney to explain to the board <br /> about his business. <br /> Mr. Moloney stated that he had a walk-in freezer at 628 Main Street. It was for <br /> storage only. He took the truck loaded it up and made deliveries on Nantucket and <br /> the vineyard. I Ie needed a place to store things. He had a place in Pembroke for five <br /> years. He lived on the Cape and wanted to move the facility closer. <br /> Ms. Grady asked'if there would be any problem with the building department if they <br /> approved this permit. <br /> Mr. Harrington spoke with Mr. Steven about the permit. He stated that 1t was okay <br /> because the other issued had been worked out with the owner. <br /> Mr. Santos asked Mr. Moloney how long he had been in the building without a <br /> permit. <br /> Mr. Moloney stated that he,had been there since January.
