All approved. <br /> Request for Title V Variance—74 Nlnigret Avenue <br /> Glen reported that a two bedroom house is proposed, In a Zone 2,which requires a denite septic system. <br /> Wetlands are on site, thus subject to flooding. Cape& Islands Engineering is requesting approval'to install an <br /> Advantex A 20 Wastewater Treatment System, provisional use approval. <br /> The following BOH variances are requested: <br /> 1 the leaching trench will be 69'from the IF II (1 00 ft. required) <br /> 2 the reserve area will be 55'from the IFIf (1 00 ft. required) <br /> The septic system design includes the installation 6f a LSV treatment unit to mitigate the requested variances. <br /> Glen Harrington stated that he and Veronica Warden will conduct the certification of the installation. <br /> Luer Burton made a motion to approve the variances as stated,with the stipulation that the variances requested <br /> be added to the plan. Glenn Santos seconded the motion. All approved. <br /> DISCUSSION <br /> FYI -Emergency Dispensing sites&Emergency Preparedness Update <br /> Glen Harrington reported that there have been two meetings regarding the shelters. Ernest Virgilio has received <br /> a request from the governor's offloe regarding the regional contingency plan, to include emergency dispensing <br /> sites. Glen Harrington wants to send a letter giving a status report of local plans and progess to date. <br /> FYI—Innovative/Alternative septic system EnforcernenVftnelties for Carmody Tracking software <br /> Glen Harrington reported that sue bask has arrived at the point where she is ready to input timelines and fee <br /> schedules into the Carmody tracking system software. Title V fines can be no less than$ o per day and no <br /> more than o per day. Glenn Santos recommended, and the Board agreed, that the Board wait until a full <br /> Burd membzarship is in attendance before finalizing the level of the fines. <br /> FYI—Woodard & Curran 3d Quarter Landfill Environmental Monitoring Report Update <br /> Glen Harrington reported that vVith regard to the low oxygen level on Rory St. Michael's landfill inspection report <br /> from 10/06/05, Ron stated that there are other gases present in addition to methane, and it does not <br /> necessarily mean that there is a high level of methane present. <br /> FYI—MHOA conference <br /> This conference will be held at the Four Point Sheraton in Hyannis on November ber 2, 3, and 4, 2005. Glen <br /> Harrington stated that he has a schedule of all available classes. A request was forwarded to Joyce Mason <br /> regarding the IIAHB conference in mil-November. Lucy Burton and llllarita Scott are scheduled to attend <br /> classes at this conference, for informational purposes, as well as to maintain certification for the Board <br /> members. <br /> The next meeting of the Board of Health was scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 3, 2005# :00 Pull at the Board of <br /> Health.
