DISCUSSION <br /> FYI- Emergency Dispensing sites& Emergency Preparedness Update. Glen Harrington <br /> stated that he has not yet had a chance to prepare for this discussion. <br /> FYI-MMR well Testing. Glen Harrington reported that there had been another contamination <br /> found. Homeowners with wells need to be notified of the results. The cost for a VOC test <br /> through the county i $110.. The consensus of the Board was that a letter should be sent to <br /> homeowners with wells in the area where contamination has been found, alerting therm to the <br /> situation. The later should include reference to the intention of the board of Health to meet with <br /> the MMR to review the situation. <br /> FYI-cape cod Wastewater Collaborative.borative. Glen Harrington reported that Glean Santos <br /> attended one meeting. <br /> FYI-IVIIIA Seminar for Municipal iparl Board Members. This is a seminar for tools to reduce <br /> liability exposure of public officials going through an open meeting law. The town gets credits for <br /> its overall insurance showing that their board members are getting certified in these trainin s for <br /> reduction of hazards. The seminar will be held on I oVernber'9th: from 7 PM to 9 PM at the <br /> Radisson Hotel. <br /> MAHB Seminar-November 12'h. Glen Harrington reported that Veronica Warden, Glenn <br /> Santos and he will mend the Advanced Board Certification class. Lucy Burton and I larita Scott <br /> will be attending the introductory Board certification class. <br /> Flu clinic Update. Glen Harrington reported that on November 1 s, thea were 618 vaocin tions <br /> given. The next clinic is scheduled for November 15th for individuals 50 years of age and above, <br /> with Ma hpee residents under 50 gears of age with chronic,diseases. <br /> Animal Inspector's Meeting. Veronica Warden reported that as a result of hurricane Katrina, <br /> the Animal Inspectors are now looking into what to do about animals who are left behind, once <br /> the flood waters recede. The state'is reviewing quarantines for rabies. <br /> Body Art Regulations <br /> Regulations for tattoos, branding, and body piercing procedures need to be overhauled. <br /> New Title V Updates. Veronica Warden distributed proposed revisions to the Title V <br /> Regulations. Online information from DEP is available, for more in depth details on changes. <br /> Time frames for the changes vary. <br /> The date for the next BOH meeting is TBD.
