Annual Board of Health seminar—Wednesday, March 1 2006 <br /> Glen Harrington stated that any of the Board members who are interested in attending the seminar <br /> should notify the BOH office in order to forward reagistr bon forms to reserve a seat. This gear's <br /> seminar is poised to foster an exchange of ideas between the DEP staff and 130H officials on the <br /> issues they face while enhancing and protecting'the environment In the So6theast Region. <br /> . Request for 2006 Retail Fool Permit—Hall oil Company, Inc., d/b/a'"Breakaway", <br /> ", <br /> The Hall Oil Company, d/b/a Breakaway, is located at 23C Simons Road, to the right of the former <br /> Augat building. The Breakaway is selling barbecue grills with prepackaged condiments, and <br /> therefore is required to have a $15 Incidental Food Permit. The 130H will need to conduct an <br /> inspection of the premises prior to issuing the permit. <br /> Steven Ball made a motion that the 13011 approve the request by Hall il'Company for issuance of <br /> an incidental food permit for The Breakaway, located at 23C Simons Road, pending an inspection of <br /> the premises by the BOH. Glenn Santos seconded the motion. All approved. <br /> . state Approvals Received for Deer crossing <br /> Glen Harrington reported that all three Mate approvals to install the pilot denite system for buildings <br /> , Br and D at Deer Crossing have been received. The Board agreed that it was appropriate now to <br /> step up the pressure on Deer Crossing to complete the work. <br /> 6. Emergency Plan Update—Glen Harrington <br /> Glen Harrington reported that he has net with SeanO'Brien, at the County Dept. of Public Health, <br /> and the contracted nurse who is assisting In the writing of the illi shpee emergency dispensing site <br /> plans' the continuity of operation plans, and emergency all hazards plan for public health. Glen also <br /> stated that he is going to be meeting with the police and fire departments and the school about <br /> using the high school as our emergency dispensing site. Glenn Santos recommended that the BOH <br /> meet with the Selectmen and the Town Manager to review the plans to get their final approval in <br /> order to avoid any future disagreements on the established chairs of command. Glen Harrington <br /> stated that he plans to get a copy of the Fire Departments pre-assigned chain of command id to use <br /> as a guideline for the B H emergency plan. <br /> The next meeting of the Board of Health was scheduled for Thursday, February 16, 2006, 7 Pel at <br /> lashpee Town Hall, Conference Room 1.
