Steven Bell seconded the motion. All approved. <br /> . Temporary Food Establishment Pen nit ; o #oberfest3r Five Vendors <br /> The following five vendors have applied for temporary food stand permits for the <br /> I toberfest on 10107/06: Children's Museum, Il ashpee High School Boosters club, <br /> Ashumet Farms, Kivwranis club, and Polar cave. <br /> Lucy Burton made a motion to approve the temporary food stand permits for the <br /> Children's Museum, the Boosters Club, Ashumet Farms, Kiwanis. club, and Polar care, <br /> conditioned upon BOH inspection and Sery Save certification for those vendors serving <br /> potentially hazardous foods. Steven Bail seconded the motion. All approved. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> Lucy Burton recommended that the BOH should reconvene with the School Committee <br /> and the School Superintendent to determine where the Board stands on sending out <br /> letters to parents regarding the elevated rate of sexually transmitted diseases among <br /> l lashpee teens, now that school its back in session. The B H agreed that another meeting <br /> should be set up. <br /> DISCUSSION <br /> July 2006 Landfill Environmental Monitoring Deport <br /> Glen Harrington reported that there was no methane gas reported. The landfill gas <br /> monitoring well SGW-9 is damaged and needs to be replaced. The next round of <br /> environmental monitoring is scheduled for October, 2006 and will consist of landfill gas <br /> screening, and collection of both groundwater and surface water samples. <br /> Boli Meeting schedule <br /> The next two BOH meetings were scheduled for the second and fourth Wednesdays o <br /> October, 2006: October '11, and October 26, 7:00 PM at Town Wall In the Board of Health <br /> office. <br /> KI Dill Policy <br /> Discussion of the policy is to be continued to the next Boli meeting. <br /> The next meeting of the Board of Health vw►iII be ori Wed October 11, 2006, 7:60 P <br /> at the Board of Health office.
