Request for Review& Signature of Landfill Monitoring Contract Glen Harrington reported receipt of bids for landfill environmental monitoring services during FY 09 for the A her's Fath Landfill from three engineering firms: Horsley Witten Group, Weston ton Sampson, and Woodard & Curran, with Weston & Sampson submitting the lowest bid. Lucy Burton made a motion to award the contract to Weston & Sampson, with the stipulation that the amount of the bid will be the maximum amount charged. Burton Kaplan seconded the motion. All approved. Glen Harrington stated that Joyce Mason must give final approval of the contract award. . Request for Board Approval: Title V Design Plan for 12 Popponesset Island Road - Benrry Lucy Burton made a motion to approve the Title V Design Plan for 12 Popponess t Island Road. Burton Kaplan seconded the motion. All approved. DISCUSSION 1. April 2008 Environmental Monitoring Report for Mashpee Landfill The report recommends repair of wells SGW-9 and SGW-1 3. SGW 9 is damaged: and SGW 13 was destroyed. Glen Harrington stated that be needs to go to the Finance Committee for funds to pay for the work. The report states that the west, south and east slopes of the landfill should be monitored for further erosion. Glen Harrington stated that he will need to put in for capital improvement to address this problem. 2, 2008 Board of Hearth Fee schedule Glen Warrington distributed copies of the 2008 BOH Fee Schedule for the Board's review. The Board members had a number of inquiries regarding the fee schedule. The Board agreed to study the schedule and report back to Glen Harrington at the 13108 BOH meeting.
