A motion was made, seconded and passed to approve as corrected the P H Public <br /> Meeting minutes of 7/09/08. <br /> . Title V Variance Request: 35 Tinnbertae Drive, Deter McEntee, PE <br /> Peter McEntee introduced himself to the Board as engineer from Engineering Works <br /> representing Mr. George Turner, owner of the property at 35 Timberlane Drive. Mr. <br /> McEntee stated that he was requesting the following 4 variances for consideration for <br /> the purpose of a Title V Septic [upgrade at'35 Tirnberlane Drive: <br /> 1) A 2'vadance, SAS to side property line: for an 8' setback <br /> 2) A ' variance, SAS to front pro prtyiine, for an ' setback <br /> 3 A 1/5' variance to the 3' maximum cover requirement, for 4.5' of cover over <br /> the SAS <br /> 4) A ' varia n a to the ' maxi cover req uirement# for ' of corer over the <br /> Pump Chamber <br /> Mr. McEntee stated-that the abutter to the property had been notified. <br /> Burton Kaplan made a motion to accept the proposed Title V system upgrade at 3 <br /> Ti berlane Drive, with the four variance requests, submitted by Peter McEntee. Carbo's Bar&Grill <br /> Veronica Warden reported that the l iashpee Police & Fire Dept. had been called earlier <br /> in the day in answer to a fire at ear~bo's Bar&gill, which was the result of a carbon <br /> monoxide leak. The Fire Dept. contacted the BOH, and Veronica Warden went to <br /> Crbo's to conduct an inspection of the restaurant. Veronica Warden stated that upon <br /> inspection, she found 20 critical and 18 non critical BOH code violations. ll.11ost of the <br /> surfaces around the kitchen were covered with grease and dust, every storage container <br /> was dirty, as well as the hood above the store where pots and pans are stored. <br /> Veronica Warden stated that rich rl cShaffrey, the neve Operations Manager at C rbo's, <br /> began yesterday, and he asked for one week to correct the problems. Veronica Warden <br /> stated that she contacted BOH members Calliope Egloff and Lucy Burton, who returned <br /> with her to Carbo' . The BOH closed the restaurant for 24 hours until all critical <br /> violations were fined, and gave the restaurant 10 days to rectify the other non--critical <br /> violations. Per the neva BOH regulation, carbo's will now be planed on probation which <br /> will require monthly inspections going forward, with 3 clean inspections required with n <br /> critical violations before removal from probation. Lucy Burton stated that the BOH <br /> inspection report was posted outside Carbo' Bar -gill, per the new BOH regulation <br /> requirement. Veronica Warden stated that a copy of the new BOH regulation was given <br /> to Rich rlcShaffrey. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> i 1.
