Draft Nail salon Regulation
Lucy Burton started that she has given a lot of thought ars to whether there is a critical
need for the establishment of a Nail Salon Regulation, even though the BOH has spent
considerable time on creating such a document. With a lukewarm response from nail
salon-operators to a draft of the regulation} and given the current difficult economic times
and with only one nail salon issue having surfaced in the recent past, Lucy Burton
suggested: and the Board agreed, that consideration of establishing a nail salon
regulation should be tabled indefinitely. The Board will cancel the public hearing on the
Dail salon Regulation, scheduled for March 11, 2009.
