OLD BUSINESS <br /> 1. 14 secnett Point Road—Title v <br /> Glen Harrington reported that Mr. Federico still has a $500 BOH fine pending and has <br /> been working with Kendall Ayers, director of the Barnstable County community Septic <br /> Loan Program, to secure a loan to pay for the septic repairs. fir. Ayers has stated that <br /> he will not issue Mr. Federico a loan because of the $500 outstanding 130H fine. The <br /> tenant at the property is not paying any rent because the septic system is not yet <br /> repaired. Glen Harrington suggested that rather than coed mn the property and have <br /> the tenant move out and the town pay for her moving expenses, have the Town issue <br /> the loan and incorporate the $500 fine into the loan, at %. Town Manager Joyce <br /> Mason has given her approval for this resolution to the problem. Glen Harrington stated <br /> that he would meed to get copies of the three bids from the contractors, and then could <br /> move forward with the plan. <br /> . 15 Holly Farm Drive , <br /> Burton Kaplan reported that on Saturday afternoon, May 8, 2010, both he and Lucy <br /> Burton received a phone call from Mashpee police/Fire Fescue regarding a housing <br /> situation at 1Holly Farren Drive. An emergency phone call made to f lashpee Police <br /> was apparently from a woman, owner of the house, who was unable to walk, couldn't <br /> tall, and was seemingly under the influence.of serious drugs. A teenage son, who had <br /> been living with her, was contacted who stated he would contact the woman's former <br /> husband who lives in California, to dear with the situation. An inspection was conducted <br /> .-by Lucy Burton and Burton Kaplan who reported floors throughout the 3-bedroom house <br /> to be covered with a layer of animal feces. 'Two dogs were locked in one of the <br /> bedrooms, and a cat was also inside the house. The cabinets were falling off the walls <br /> in the Kitchen, the floors were covered in a layer of debris, the master bathroom toilet <br /> wasn't functional and the same bathroom walls were covered in mold. The exterior <br /> grounds of the house were also covered with animal feces. Only one of the two dogs <br /> was found to be licensed. { <br /> Glen Harrington stated that he had attempted to make e an inspection of the property <br /> today but was unable to gain access to the building, as no one was home. Glen will <br /> request reports from the police and fire departments and will post the property and serve <br /> the property owner notice via certified rail that she must set up a date with the BOH for <br /> an inspection of the property and will give her until next Tuesday, 5/18/10 to respond, if <br /> the owner fails to respond, thea the BOH will obtain an administrative w rr r t for <br /> inspection of the property. <br /> . 34 uncle Edwards Board <br /> Glen,Darrington reported that the work was completed. <br /> i <br /> . Recycling Fable - FYI <br /> Burton Kaplan reported that there was an 8 1/2% increase in recyclables in the Town of <br /> l ashpee in the period from January through April 2010. The Transfer station has <br /> reported no change. <br /> 5. School Cafeteria Issues <br /> Glen Darrington reported that there have been no further comments or complaints on the <br /> school cafeterias. Veronica Warden has been inspecting the school cafeterias and has <br /> found no problems. <br />
