APPOINTMENTS TS :1Pill — Doug Karson --AFCEE Annual MMR IRP Update. Doug Karon, of the Air Force Center Engineering and Environment at otic, introduced himself to the Board and provided a thorough update on the clean-up efforts being provided by his agency in Ilahpee including updates on the chemical and fuel spills affecting the local ponds and cranberry bogs. Mr. Carson provided ,naps, charts, and hand-outs to the Board and to Mr. Harrington for the Board of Health office. Progress-continues to be ,made in the clean-up of the plumes from the Base affecting Mahpee. 7:30 PM Mark Tolley, uS•Sports Institute Recreational Camp Violations. Burton Kaplan stated that the US Sports Institute had requested a continuance. continuance was granted. 8:00 PIM — Falmouth Engineering —76 Triton Way—Title V Variances: Septic Repair. Michael Borrelli, of Falmouth Engineering Inc., introduced-himself to the Board. Mr. Borrelli is representing the applicant: M. C. Development, Tory Caruso. Mr. Borrelli is requesting. variances from Title V to proceed with an upgrade and repair of a substandard septic system. at the property at 76 Triton Way, which has an existing -bedroom single family dwelling located on the property. Mr. Borrelli stated that the existing system does not have the required size septic tank, and it has two leaching pits. The inspection revealed that the leaching pits are not on the property. They are located within the cul-de-sac on Triton Way- Mr. lea -Mr. Borrelli commented that a topographic survey of the property was performed, the top of the coastal bank was delineated, and a boundary survey was done. The plumbing of the Douse was investigated, and the best course of action would be to install an infiltrator system between the house and both the road property lire and the neighbor's property line. The plumbing will be re-routed to install a new 1 500-gal lo n septic tank, pipe from the tank to the D-Box and thea feed,the infiltrators. It will all fit on the lot, but property line variances are required.
