Michael Borrelli commented that once the tank is installed the rest of the system would be a <br /> relatively shallow excavation. Most of the work would be done by hand. The abutters were notified, <br /> as required, by certified mail, and the return receipt green cards were provided to the Board. <br /> The first variance is to allow the septic tank to be less than 1feet to a property lime, an eight-foot <br /> variance ig sought. The second variance is to allow the septic tank to be less than 10 feet to the <br /> cellar wall. A variance of 4 1/ feet is requested. The variance requested to the property line is 7.6 feet <br /> to the road layout, and ar 4.6 foot variance to the abutting property line. The final variance requested <br /> is the S.A.S. to the cellar wall of 13.4 feet. A waterproof f membrane is proposed to mitigate any <br /> problems. <br /> Lucy Burton made a motion-that the Board of Health approve the variances as requested for 76 <br /> Triton Way. Kalliope Egl ff seconded the motion. The motion was unanimously approved. <br /> 8:15 PM —Allied Waste Services f Cape Cod — Recycling Regulation. <br /> Burton Kaplan stated that Lakeside Estates has agreed to the installation of a recycling container to <br /> be emptied on call. This will bring Lakeside Estates into partial compliance as part of the settlement <br /> agreement. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> 1. sign Warrants. Board members signed the warrants. <br /> 2. Review/Approve Review/ApproveBOH Public Session Minutes: July 2 , 201.2, and August 8, 2012. <br /> Lary Burton made a motion that the Board of Health approve the Minutes of July 25, 2012. Kalliope <br /> pe <br /> Eloff seconded the motion. The motion was. unanimously approved. <br /> Kalliope E l ff made ar motion that the Board of,Health approve the Minutes of August 8, 2012. <br /> Burton Kaplan seconded the motion. The motion was unanimously approved. <br /> . Emergency Dwelling Condemnation: 68 Harwich Road. <br /> Glen Harrington Mated that the property has been purchased. A new septic system will be installed} <br /> and building, plumbing, and electrical permits will be issued. <br /> Lucy Burton made a motion that the Board of Health reaffirm the condemnation of 68 Harwich Road <br /> in Mashpee. Kalliope Eloff seconded the motion. The motion was unanimously approved. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> 1. Health Agent's Update —26 Collins Lane, 22 Greensward Road, 43 Brassie Way, <br /> 84 Captains Row, 24 Spoondrift Way. <br /> Glen Harrington stated that a contractor, representing the owner of 20 Collins Lane, came to the <br /> Building Department on July 11, 2012. The entire building,.including the louver level, was boarded up. <br /> The trees and brush around the house were bull dozed and cleared. The building was secured. The <br /> police now have access to the back of the house where suspected illegal entry had been obtained. <br /> Glen Harrington commented that,22 Greensward Road was the property where the septic tank was <br /> difficult to access. Brian Fyenger was the septic installer for this property. A concrete truck was <br /> parked in the front yard, a chute was placed between the house and the garage, and thea wheel <br /> barrels were used to bring the concrete through. <br /> 1r. Harrington started that the house at 43 Brassie way has not sold. clothing will take place until the <br /> house sells. <br /> 2 <br />
