Mr. Harrington commented that 84 Captain Row was a sale property with cesspools. An <br /> Enforceable Agreem nt was provided on August 29, 2012. Everything was forwarded to the <br /> attorneys for transfer of the property. <br /> Glen Harrington stated that he does not have any updates for 24 Spoondrift Way. <br /> ADDITIONAL TOPICS <br /> 1. Glen Harrington commented that the Ma hpee Pop Warner Concession Stand is now open. It was <br /> opened for the beginning of the Pop Warner season. Dino Mitr ko to , the ServSafe person for the. <br /> concession stand, donated a great deal of time and materials. Mr. Harrington-wars informed.that <br /> opening day was successful. <br /> 2. Mr. Harrington stated that the Community Health Center expansion septic system is complete. <br /> 3. Glen Harrington stated that the Tribal Government Center septic permit has been issued. The <br /> next step will go forward for the Government Center. <br /> DISCUSSION <br /> August 2 , 2012 — Household Hazardous Waste Day. <br /> Kalliepe Egloff commented that the August 20, 2012, Waste Day saw 250 vehicles representing 286 <br /> households. 3,300 gallons, 16,805 pounds, of hazardous waste was collected that day. It was mostly <br /> paint and pesticides. Of the 250 vehicles that attended, 121 were from Ma hpee. Eighty percent of <br /> Mashpee's participants were }ream-round residents, 53 percent were neer participants. The reason <br /> given for attending the hazardous waste day was that 37 percent received brochures, 17 percent <br /> received information from the newspaper, 20 percent re eived'information from signs, 11 percent <br /> from radio televi ion Internet, and 13 percent from other sources. Ms. Egloff stated that in other <br /> counties residents pay about $25 per vehicle to dispose of their hazardous waste.. <br /> i <br /> September 29, 2012 Dedication Take Back Day, <br /> Kalliepe Egloff commented that Ma tepee was not a registered participant on the DEA website. Glen <br /> Harrington stated that Chief Collins was Crude aware of the program, but Mr. Harrington has not yet <br /> received any feedback. Mr. Harrington will contact Chief Collins and Lt. Fd. <br /> Ms. Egloff commented that she would like to see more advertising to increase the rate of participation <br /> since it has been low. She would like to have a line of communication between the Board of Health, <br /> the Health Department, and the Police Department in advance of this daffy to make a ure that the <br /> apprepriate'advertiing and any other information is made public. <br /> October 1, 2012— Flu Clinic. <br /> Glen-Harrington started that the Flu Clinic will take place at Christ The Ding Parish Center. There i <br /> not enough participation to hold a Flu Clinic at the schools. The students usually receive the.flu <br /> vaccine from their pediatrician. <br /> September 26, 2012 — Reschedule Meeting. <br /> Burton Kaplan stated that the net scheduled meeting is on September 2 , 2012, which happens to <br /> be the end of Yom Kippur, a Jewish Holiday. Burton Kaplan commented that the September 26, <br /> 2012, meeting will be rescheduled to October 3, 2012. <br /> Mobile Food Carts. <br /> Burton Kaplan stated that Ma tepee has a number of Mobile Food Permits that because of zoning <br /> issues will now no longer be able to operate as a mobile food cart in the Town of Mahpee. <br />
