Rt Mrs. Botsford reported that she has asked for a price quote for Installing wi-Fi",hot spots"'at both Asher's Path and Home rer Village. The cost quoted was $660.00 for both. Since the housing authority cannot pay for this out of its operating budget, the beard would have to approve expending it out of its Asher's Path savings account(from ground lease monies). There was a short discussion about the interest residents may have or not have. Mrs. Botsford will conduct a survey and report back to the board next month. COMMUNICATIONS/CORRESPONDENCE: Mrs. Botsford stated there were none other than those already referenced. The next regular meeting is scheduled for Thursday, May 13, 2010 at 6:00 PM. A motion was made by Mr. Harsch and seconded by Ms.Allen to adjourn. The motion carried. The meeting was adjourned at 6:35 P.M. As usual, the monthly newsletter was sent out to all residents. B[gM Acres 05: We had all ants paid in full at Breezy Acres and we are 10010 occupied. Asher's Path: We had all rents paid in full at Asher"s Path, which the exception of the one who has a balance. I have started the eviction with the assistance of attorney Jack Kowalski. we have one vacancy that remains. Mi c„ The monthly IIVPAH1P/DMI reports were submitted. • The monthly Energy Consumption reports were submitted. • I attended the following meetings: SHADO (Small Housing Authority Director's Organization) meeting, MassNAHl o Professional Development committee.. SMEDA (Southeastern Massachusetts Executive Director's Association), and the Cape Cod Executive Director's meeting. • on April 1, the residents Irving in Mashpee under the DMH program are vacating and moving to a unit in the town of Barnstable, so that program will discontinue in Mashpee. • We received notice from the Department of Labor and Workforce regarding maintenance gage rates. As a result, Bob Manganiello's (our custodian/landscaper)wage has been increased effective April 1 by about 6%. Vincent Gault is already over the minimum allowed wage, but I am hoping to be able to grant him a raise in the corning year(partially funded by the Asher's Paths budget). AH11P Vouchers: we have 2 AHVP vouchers. MRVP VOUCHERS(MOBILE): Currently we have 16 voucher holders in Mashpee. MRVP Project Based Vouchers: we currently have 38 PB vouchers leased. DMH Program: we currently have 3 leased. Section : We currently have 8 Housing Choice Vouchers leased In Mashpee. -3-
