Joanne suggested that with some of our <br /> acquisitions, we would have -to start taking photographs* <br /> Ann Whitlow explained that we were hoping in the future to have a com- <br /> puter with a scanner3, so that we could scam some of the pictures and <br /> catalogue them. <br /> Joanne brought Curtis Frye and the new members up to date on the various <br /> planned projects which were in the words. <br /> Joanne explained that Gordon Peters and his father had been members .of <br /> the Mashpee Fire Dept, As such, he was interested in preparing a history <br /> of the Fire Dept* <br /> FW - Joanne: Joanne explained that she had been working with Charlie <br /> Hicks who is Commander of the VFW. There was discussion of a photograph <br /> that had been previously hung at the Legion Hall. Joanne felt that when <br /> the Town Hall renovations have been completed the placement of this <br /> honor roll in the Town Hall should be discussed with the board ofse- <br /> lectmen. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> A. - Water-Cooler: Ann and Joyce in the Selectmen's office have worked <br /> together to acquire a water-cooler- for the Archives producing hot <br /> and cold water. <br /> Acquisitions: Fred Fitzgerald, a former member of the police dept. <br /> B. � be' of the <br /> in the 1960 s donated pictures of the four mem r police <br /> dept. at that time. Curtis Frye was a sargeant with the Mashpee <br /> Police Dept. in the picture. <br /> A vote to accept the photo and the excise boos was moved, seconded <br /> and accepted. <br /> Joanne felt that the ex .ise books were interesting and would assist <br /> with Gordon's research. <br /> I OTHER: <br /> A. Joanne explained that Dike Ford has established a Summer Institute <br /> for Kids.
