Letter. regarding Museum and National Historic Register: (Cont'd) Rosemary Burns suggested that all .commission members should read and sign the borne-mentioned letter before it should go out. OLD -BUSINESS A. Heritage Cape Cod: Axon Whitlow explained that on Sunday, June , - 1997 the historical commission planned to have an open house at the Archives from 1:00 to 4:00 p. m. Earl Mills will be featured with his book, SON OF MASHPEE, "Special -Places, Mashpee Remembered'% Invitations will be sent out. Earl will be on hand to reminisce. can DeClerk is prepared to supervise -the refreshments* r B. Poppone set# Tuesday, August , 1997, 4:00 . m. to 7:00 p. . , an open house which will be advertised in Heritage Cape Cod. We will present photo-displays of Pop one set history. I OTHER: A. Letter from Many Lopez: Copies of a letter from Mary Lowen were gassed' out to the meeting. In her letter, she discussed a cemetery here in. Masbpee, and' referred to.mention of it included in a tape of Mabel Avant, It was suggested that we contact Mr. Cataldo, of Tales of Cape Cod, and ask I,f there were any tapes avail-able. Cordon Peters moved that the historical commission sion should write a let- to Mr. Catald , and ask- if there were any tapes available, and if s , would 'it be possible that we make copies of them. ,doe Connolly seconded. Contact should be made with Fred Dunf rd; they will both do .a tour of the Archives. D. Heritage'Tours: Cape Cod and the Islands: We will write a letter to re test that the Mashpee 'Archives be listed on their Categories of Restaurants and Landmarks* E.
