M. <br /> I MEMBERS PRESENT : ROSEMARY BURNS <br /> PHILIP CHOATE <br /> FRANK HICKS <br /> JAMES MOR NEY- <br /> OORDON PETERS <br /> ANN WHITLOW <br /> I APPOINTMENT : Ann Whitlow was. voted unanimously to take over as <br /> chairman of the Maahpee Hi totical , Commission, <br /> III . MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING: <br /> The minutes of the October 19 , 1998 meeting were accepted as <br /> presented . <br /> IV BUDGET <br /> Ann passed out copies of , the November 1 , 1998 Town of Mashpee <br /> Expense Ledger, FY 1999 Budget for the Historical Commission. <br /> Discussion. <br /> V REPORTS : <br /> A. Computer : Ann explained that she had set up the budget on <br /> the computer. She had also worked on- the programs for both <br /> the New Seabu-ry- Women' s Cluband the Ma shp e e Women ' s Club. <br /> For Chamber After Hours , they had changed the New Seabury pro- <br /> gram to- a pictorial program. <br /> Ann asked for the commission s permission to take a course <br /> I ocrosoft WORD if it should be available. She would like to <br /> have some instruction on setting up master pages and a style <br /> sheet . Ann es-tima'ted that the course would run between 8 <br /> and $9 . <br /> Pint to a motion, all were ,in favor. So moved . <br /> B , womenis lub presentations : Rosemary -Burns stated that they <br /> had gore extremely w-e'11. There were about 80 people present . <br /> at Doth. presentations . They had a Large display of photos . and <br /> they were very well received . <br /> Ann eP 1ained that 'all-in-all., they were very satisfied with <br /> the results 'of the two presentations . <br /> ce Chamber After Hours : Ann explained that this would be their <br /> next presentation which was scheduled for Tuesday., November <br /> 17th : O to p. m. This would e in conjunct ion with <br /> Dino f s who would supply the refre hments . They expected <br /> between 30and 40 'people. <br />
