Joanne will call the Town Accountant and discuss the Historical Commission accounts from which this expense should be withdrawn. The three quotes must be officially submitted to Joyce Mason before they .can order the MITA from Superior office Systems . Iv OLD BUSINESS: A. Joanne reported that they .had re elved from Lincoln eMaura, the 1937 through 1942 town reports , ' copied and bound. V NEW BUSINESS : A. Policy relative to items donated to the Archives 1. In teras of new materials , or anything donated, e should 'Make a general agreement that the items are of historical value; we should display it in the Archives, or send it back to the donor and recommend that they ,donate it somewhere else. Joanne presented to the meeting plans for the Highway . Garagewhich had been donated to the A chip es by the Planning Board. If we do not want thea, the Planning Board will pick up and destroy. . If any donor should cone in to the Archives to pick up thein materials donated or on loan, they .must be advised to put their request formally in writing, and that request must go through the co mission to the chairperson. The H. C. will draft a procedure to be followed when donors appear at the Archives to pick up thein materials or donations , and form an acquisition committee to re- view those matter's . B. Cape Heritage Week (6/15 - 6/23/95) Joanne advised that the H. C. had received a notice asking if the Mashpee H. C. would like to participate in the Cape Heritage Week this year. It was the consensus that the H. C. should become involved.
