The Town has first right of refusal. <br /> If interested, the I la tepee Housing Authority would form a "partnership"with Habitat and the <br /> following steps taken: <br /> John will obtain from Town departments) list of potential 1 acre house lots. Ma tepee Housing <br /> Authority would request lard at Town Meeting, enter into a contract with Habitat and transfer <br /> land, without competitive bidding or need for RFP. The Housing Authority does not select <br /> families--this would be the responsibility of Habitat. The Housing Authority would; however, <br /> notify people on the wait list, churches, advertise in paper, etc. Elig'ib'ility would be in accordance <br /> with HUD"D income guidelines; credit worthiness, need, ability to provide sweat equity, etc. <br /> Habitat would review all applicants and select the final candidate. <br /> The Board is in agreement and supports and endorses efforts of Habitat. <br /> The next meeting will be held on Thursday, May 8, 1997. <br /> There being no further business to come before this Burd, a miction was made by ll .
