Executive Director's Report: <br /> Training the newly hired Administrative Assistant regarding procedures and policies of the housing authority. The <br /> Fee Accountant spent some time today providing computer training--new Guicken software. <br /> Executive Director attended the QMH Christmas party held at the Sandwich Housing Authority. <br /> On December 19th,the Annual Christmas party for 867-1 residents was held. Representative Tom Cahir attended, as <br /> did Firs Chief Georoe Raker, Commisssioners Karen Rudd,Marie Younger,btu Peoples and Connie Mills. <br /> rairwinds Club House was gracious enough to came to Homeyer Village to sing Christmas carols in the courtyard. <br /> The IAP Application was prepared,with the assistance of Connie Mills, and submitted. A letter of support was <br /> forwarded to Ed Allard�l4�R1�flS�9C#t4 JtIIlZI!1p nxCBSS f�YB!!�.1�5!!!f�lp 8!�t�!!�r Of$2�0,00� az the rRc�E!t of the Land <br /> Bank bill. <br /> Purchase of the Mass NAHRO produced Board Member Orientation Video--Fs in the office and available#or review by <br /> Commissioners at any time. <br /> Residents' Association: <br /> Ms. Burke reported that all residents enjoyed and had a great time at the Christmas party. Also was pleased to <br /> report that icrosswalk and walkway have been installed as the result of negotiations with the Town, Masqhmp?R <br /> Commons(Fields Point)and the down. there are still some problems with parking but they will continue working an <br /> this issue. Ms.Fermino suggested that the Association contact CORA,specifically Pam gerkely for assistance. <br /> Communications: <br /> Communications were reviewed by Commissioners. <br /> Other Business: <br /> Ms.Younger reported that starting January 15, 1998 she has been accepted and will begin the Community <br /> Leadership Institute at Cape Cad Community Colleae; 1��!!G�!will 8��4W hert411ntwnrk andmeet!114fa,people,w�lrh will <br /> b 9 beneficial to the Board. She is requesting any financial assistance available--this could b e passible i f viewed as a <br /> training session. Ms.Redd indicated that the only problem could be this would result in other Board members <br /> requesting,a rightfully so,monies for same type activities. Ms.Reed is to check with Tam regarding this issue. <br /> Ms.meed advised the Board that she is currently participating in a Leisure Service Internet Training at the cost of <br /> $24.nD. The Hoard requested that!!+!s.Read submit this cost to thg Board for reimhursQment as this is clearly a job <br /> related cui1r86. <br />
