y+ <br /> Minutes of the Meeting <br /> Mashpee Dousing Authority <br /> Board of Conumssioners <br /> July 9. 1998 <br /> The meeting was called to order by the Chairperson at 5:32 p.m. and a quorum <br /> declared with the following members present: Karen A. Rudd, Constance Mills, Marie <br /> Younger, and Lord Finton. Others in attendance included: Leila Botsford, Executive <br /> Director; Cheryl Bunce, Resident Association representative. Excused: E. Stuart <br /> Peoples. <br /> SECRETARY'S REPORT: <br /> Minutes for regular meeting held on ,June '1'1, 1998 were presented. Ids. R udd <br /> mentioned a couple amendments to the minutes. Motion was made by Ms. Mills and <br /> seconded by Ms. Fint n to accept the minutes as amended. The motion was <br /> adapted. <br /> TREASURER'S REPORT: <br /> Budget to Actual and Narrative: These were presented to the Board for review, as well <br /> as the written treasurer's report. Mrs. Botsford reported that the 4190 account <br /> (administrative expenses) was a little high, due to the cost of job advertisements. Mrs. <br /> Botsford also mentioned that the accountant has stated that the amounts fisted under <br /> Extraordinary Maintenance and Replacement of Equipment would be carried over Into <br /> next years budget to use in the next year. <br /> Accounts,Payables: Payables totaling $8,408.34 were presented to the Board for <br /> review, approval and signatures. <br /> Rent Delinquencies: Mrs. Botsford reported that there were no rent delinquencies at <br /> Homeyer pillage. Mrs. Botsford reported that two 2) 705 tenants remain delinquent but <br /> they are complying with the arrangements made for repayment. A motion was made <br /> by Ms. lounger and seconded by Ms. Mills to accept the Secretary's report as <br /> presented. The motion was adopted. <br /> PROGRAM UPDATE: <br /> Home er i l la 667 : Mrs. Botsford reported that the complex is at full <br /> occupancy. she reported that she held a meeting with tenants bn Wednesday, <br /> .June 24 to review results of a survey conducted. There was a small turnout of <br /> tenants at the meeting. copies of the survey results v ere distributed and <br /> discussed. lick has started to clean the gutters and they should be finished b <br /> Friday, ,July 10. Window washing will be scheduled for sometime in July or <br /> August. Two to four units will be painted, as well as the community room when <br />
