dr <br /> Minutes of the Meefing <br /> Mashpee HAuthority <br /> Board of Conumssioners <br /> December 10, 1998 <br /> The meeting was called to order by the Chairperson at 5:38 p.m. and a quorum <br /> declared with the following members present: Daren A. Rudd, E. Stuart Peoples, Made <br /> Younger, and Lorraine Finton. Constance Mills was absent. Others in attendance <br /> included: Leila Botsford, Executive Director, Cheryl Burke and Lois Barthel, residents <br /> of Homeyer iVillage. <br /> SECRETAR S REPORT: <br /> Minutes for regular meeting held on November ber 12, 1998 were presented. Motion was <br /> made by Mr. Peoples and seconded by Ms. Finton to accept the minutes as <br /> presented. The motion was adopted. <br /> TREASURER'S REPORT. <br /> Budget to Actual and Narrative: The Budget to Actual Deport which reflects the fourth <br /> month of the fiscal year was presented to the Board for review, as well as the written <br /> treasurer's report. Mrs. Botsford stated that the accountant reported no e traordihary <br /> expenses in this month. <br /> Accounts Payable& Parables totaling $7,409.95 were presented to the Board for <br /> review, approval and signatures. <br /> Rent Delinquencies: Mrs. Botsford reported that there were no rent delinquencies at <br /> either complex. A motion was made by Mr. Peoples and seconded by Ms. Finton to <br /> accept the secretary's report as presented. The motion was adopted. <br /> PROGRAM UPDATE: <br /> Horneyer iVillage (667): Mrs. Botsford reported that the vacuuming of smoke <br /> detectors, heating units, and bathroom fans in all units has been done. There <br /> was a tree trimming party and a magic show this past month. Both were very <br /> well attended. The next social event is the annual holiday party which will be <br /> held on Thursday, December 17 from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM and on Friday, <br /> December r ber 1 the FaIrwInds Carolers will cone by to do some Christmas <br /> caroling. Mrs. Botsford reported that, due to a problem with non-residents using <br /> our trash bins, the housing authority has placed a lock on the fence surrounding <br /> the trash bin. The bin will be unlocked for several hours three days a week so <br /> that residents may dispose of their garbage. Keys are also being provided to <br /> residents so that they may dispose of garbage during other times. one notice to <br />
