Minutes of the Meeting <br /> MASHPEE HOUSING AUTHORITY <br /> Board of Commissioner <br /> October 1 , 1999 <br /> The meeting was called to order by the Chairperson at :3 p.rn. and a quorum declared with <br /> the following members present: Marie Younger, Gina Orlando, E. Stuart Peoples, and Laverne <br /> Williams. Ms. Fenton was excused. Others in attendance included. Leila Botsford, Executive <br /> Director, and Cheryl Burke, resident of Horneyer village. <br /> SECRETARY'S REPORT: <br /> Minutes for regular meeting held on September 9, 1999 were presented. Motion was made <br /> by Ms. Orlando and seconded by Mr. Peoples to accept the minutes as presented. The <br /> motion was adopted. <br /> TREASURER'S REPORT: <br /> Budget to Actual and Narrative: The Budget to Actual Report was presented to the Board, <br /> which represented the third month of the Fiscal Year, Mrs. Botsford stated that all line-items <br /> were within budge. Mrs. Botsford stated that she wished to point out that the Fee Accountant <br /> was still using last year's budget because this year's budget had not yet been approved by <br /> II . <br /> Accounts P ablest Payables totaling $10,215.31 were presented to the Board for review, <br /> approval and signatures. <br /> Rent Ielinguencies; Mrs. Botsford reported that there were no rent delinquencies at either <br /> development except for an amount due from one resident clue to a retroactive rent adjustment <br /> which should be paid soon. A Motion was made by Mr. Peoples and seconded by Ms. <br /> Williams to accept the Secretary's report as presented. The motion was adopted. <br /> PROGRAM UPDATE: <br /> Horne er Village Mrs. Botsford reported Haat, in addition to Bingo this corning month, <br /> there will be a Cooking for One demonstration which was canceled last month due to the chef <br /> being sick. There will also be a Halloween Social on the 291h. Mrs. Botsford reported that the <br /> Sheriff's Crew was able to cone for two days to wash the whole_building exterior, which came <br /> out very nice. <br /> Old Barnstable Road . Mrs. Botsford reported Haat the fencing has all been painted and <br /> some fall flowers put in. By the end of October, bulbs will be planted for spring flowers. Mrs. <br /> Botsford reported that she will be working on a Resident Landbook for Breezy Acres like she <br /> did for Hoe Byer village and she hopes to have it done by next month. <br />
