Old Barnstable load Mrs. Botsford reported she has completed the resident <br /> Handbook for Breezy Acres, bulbs have all been planted for flowers next spring, and plastic <br /> covers have been installed on storm doors there as well. <br /> Mrs. Botsford reported that we have 2 AHVP vouchers, 23 MRVP Mobile, 29 Project Based <br /> Vouchers, 17 Section 8 Certificates, 8 Section 8 Vouchers and one Housing Choice voucher <br /> leased in Mashpee. <br /> Mrs. Botsford also reported that DHCD has randomly selected 4 units and will be conducting <br /> inspctions on them on November 30. <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> Grievance Officer: Mrs. Botsford reported to the Board that she had approached Louise <br /> Patrick regarding servicing as the housing authority's grievance officer and she has agreed to <br /> serve the year term. Mrs. Botsford also reported that the grievance request that had been <br /> submitted was settled informally with a meeting between herself, the resident and the <br /> resident's attorney. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Si ature Cards for New Burd Members: Mrs. Botsford presented the paperwork necessary <br /> to add M . Williams and Ms. Orlando as authorized signatories on MHA.checks. All board <br /> members signed the appropriate paperwork and Mrs. Botsford will present it to CCB&T. <br /> TAS Awar <br /> .d dorsem t: firs. Botsford reported that the Cape Cod Commission has <br /> awarded the Mashpee Housing Authority another Technical Assistance Grant. Mrs. Botsford <br /> explained that the scope of the project includes working with consultant Laura Shufelt to start <br /> implement the development plan previously developed. A Motion was made by Mr. Peoples <br /> and seconded by Ms.Williams to accept and endorse the scope of the Technical <br /> Assistance Program Award as presented. The motion was adopted. <br /> Approy&Adoption of Breezy Acres esident ndboo : Mrs. Botsford previously provided <br /> the board with a proposed resident handbook for Breezy Acres Residents. Auer a few minor <br /> changes and some discussion a Motion was aide by Mir. Peoples and seconded by Ms. <br /> Williams to adopt the Breezy Acres Resident Handbook. The motion was adopted. <br /> OTHER BUSINESS: Mrs. Botsford reported that she had been asked, and has agree, to serve <br /> on the Mashpee Town Complete Count Census Committee for the Year 2000 Mashpee <br /> Census. <br /> Mrs. Botsford mentioned the ongoing problems with other housing authorities administering <br /> heir Section 8 program in Mashpee. Mrs. Botsford stated that all Cape housing authorities <br /> signed an agreement years ago which stated that no one would administer in another housing <br /> authority's town. Mrs. Botsford stated that she was aware that Barnstable and Falmouth were <br /> administering some of their Section gs in Mashpee, with Falmouth having close to 30. Mrs. <br /> Botsford informed the Board that this item is on the agenda for the next Cape Housing <br /> Officials Organization Cmeeting and she will update thein on it at the next meeting. <br />
