yM <br /> distributed Lara Shufelts report which had just been received. Mrs. Shufeles report <br /> includes aproposed time-line for proceeding with the project. Mrs. Botsford reported <br /> that she is now in the process of trying to obtain a pro-bono attorney for the land <br /> transfer. The fist lawyer she contacted declined because she was not very familiar <br /> with real estate law. A request has been submitted to Robert Mills of Wynn &Wynn. <br /> Mrs. Botsford is also looking into applying for a grant for technical assistance with the <br /> Request for Proposal process. <br /> AffpArable Housing Committee: Mrs. Botsford reported that she had received a request <br /> from the town to name the representative from the housing authority that will serve on <br /> the town's affordable housing committee, which should meet shortly after the <br /> committee is formed. <br /> Section.8 1ssAs requested by the sub-committee, Mrs, Botsford reported that she <br /> had sent a letter to Bob Murray requesting a meeting to discuss Falmouth Hosing <br /> Authority's administering Section 8s in Mashpee. Mrs. Botsford has not received a <br /> response from Mr. Murray. Aller a short discussion,, tt was decided that a letter be sent <br /> from the Mashpee Housing Authority board to the Falmouth Housing Authority board <br /> requesting a meeting to discuss the issue. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> 2000 net Income Limits &-FMRs: Mrs. Botsford distributed to the board DHCD's revised <br /> Net Income Limits and Fair Market Rent Schedule for 2000. A motion was made by <br /> Mr. Peoples and seconded by Ms. Williams to adopt the Net Income Umits <br /> and Fair Market Rents as presence. The motion carried, <br /> Guest gQligy aad Procedure:. Mss. Botsford reviewed the drafted Guest Policy and <br /> Procedure that had been proVided to the board earlier. Mrs. Botsford explained that <br /> most of the policy simply reiterates the lease,, but that there were a couple places that <br /> the lease and regulations do not make clear. Mrs. Botsford stated that she had spoken <br /> to attorney Grace and shared her recommendations with the board. It was decided <br /> that the"twelve month period"would be defined as April 1 through March 31 each <br /> year,, It was decided that each guest would be counted individually. It was decided <br /> that a"reasonable time"to report a guests stray would be 48 hours/two days. After a <br /> brief discussion, a motion was made by Mr. Peoples and seconded by Ms. <br /> Williams to adopt the Guest Policy and Procedure. The motion carded. <br /> 5gXual ss Harament Policy,: Mrs. Botsford reviewed the drafted Sexual Harassment <br /> Policy that had been provided to the board earlier. After a brief discussion, a motion <br /> was made by Mr. Peoples and seconded by Ms. Citrins to adopt the Sexual <br /> Harassment Policy.
