This communication stated the since DHCD has increased all <br /> project based units up to the approved basic rent, there should be no disparate <br /> treatment of project based units and that there is no justification to under-utilize the <br /> units. The communication stated that effective immediately MHFA developments, such <br /> as lashpee Village, must attempt to occupy lo -income units with MRP project-based <br /> tenants up to the current contractual requirement, which in our case is 38 units. The <br /> attachment from DHCD stated that DHCD and MHFA has rescinded the policy with <br /> allowed reductions in the number of units under contract. An enclosure was provided <br /> which outlined Mashpee Village's contractual commitment to the Mashp a Housing <br /> Authority (38 units). Mrs. Botsford stated that she had not yet had a chance to discuss <br /> this with T1s.
