We <br /> are received a few low-cost suggestions that we should be able to work into the budget. <br /> It has also been suggested that an additional washer and darer be installed. We could <br /> offset the cost of this over the next several gears, by ralsing the laundry charge to $1.00 <br /> (it is currently . 5 cents). This decision cavi be rade after the budget guidelines come <br /> out, <br /> OLD BUSINESS: Nome <br /> N E 11 BUSINESS: <br /> Election of QffiQgrs: The chairperson announced that, due to the lack of a full membership,, she <br /> would like to table elections until the next meeting. <br /> D Recognition: Mrs, Botsford reported to the board that., when going through some old files, <br /> she found a letter dated 1991 from HUD to the I lashpee Housing Authority stating the we were <br /> eligible to participate in the Sedon 8 program* Mrs. Botsford stated that she believes this <br /> means we don't have to go through the process again, but will check into it further* <br /> FY 2003 Budget: Mrs. Botsford reported that DHCD has not yet released budget guidelines for <br /> FY 200 3. This means that we will be submittingour budget et late this year and using 2082 <br /> figures for our budget-to-actual reports. <br /> OTHER BUSINESS: Nims. Botsford provided the board with a copy of the Certificate of <br /> Appreciation she submitted to John Wilcox, along with the stipend check, at the pot-luck <br /> luncheon. Mrs. Botsford also provided the board with a copy of a Mashpee Enterprise article <br /> printed as a result of the press release she sent. Botsford stated that she had writ a leer <br /> to TCB regarding the award of the land lease and contract.
