The ren eeti ng was ca I I d to order by the chairperson at 5:47 p.m. and a quorum declared with the following members present: David Harsch, E. Stuart Peoples, and Lorri Finton. Dan Horneyer and La erne Williams were absent. Also in attendance was Leila Botsford, Executive Director. A short discussion ensued regarding Mr. orneyer's absence from the last couple meetings. It was decided to send a letter to hire conveying the board's concern and asking him to make every attempt to attend future meetings, or to call if he cannot attend. SECRETARY'S REPORT: 4 Minutes for regular meeting held on March 13,, 2003 were presented. A motion was made by Mr, Peoples and seconded by Ms. Fiot3on to accept the minutes as presented. The motion was adopted, TREASURER'S REPORT: Budget.toctual and Narrati r Irs. Botsford provided a treasurer's report with regards to the bank accounts and the Budget to Actual Report,, prepared by the fee-accountant, which represented the ninth month of the fiscal year. Mrs. Botsford informed the board that this month's budget to actual represents the new, reprised, budget figures, after DHCVs approval of the budget revision we submitted last month. Mrs. Botsford went on to explain that, as expected, the line-item for insurance is over-budget due to the large increase in insurance rates. All other iters are within budget, and there is room to make up for the overage in the insurance lire-item. Accounts Paygbl_es_;, Payables totaling $6,,090.19 were presented to the Board for review, approval and signatures. The warrant was presented to the chairperson for his signature. Rent Ddinguenci Mfrs. Botsford stated that all ruts are paid in full at both Horneyer pillage and Breezy Acres. motion was made by Nis., Finton and seconded by Mr. Peoples to accept the treasurer's report as presented. The motion was adopted. EXECUTIVE DI CTRes REPORT: Mrs. Botsford remarked that she had mailed her reports to the board for the month of March. It is attached to these minutes as Aft-achmod . Mrs. Botsford added the following report: 0 Four residents at Homeyer Village have now given notice to move in early May.. All are roving to the new elderly development in Sandwich. We are working now to fill units as soon as they are empty,, cleaned, and painted. • DHCD has approved both my contract and the budget revision we submitted last morn. Our budget to actual reports will reflect the updated budget figures. Page I of
