Stuart Peoples, Dan Horneyer, and Corn <br /> Finton. LaVerne Williams was absent. Also in attendance were Leila Botsford, Executive <br /> Director and Jonathan Juhl, Senior Project Manager/Construction Advisor for The Community <br /> Builders. <br /> SECRETARY'S REPORT: <br /> Minutes for the regular meeting held on April 10, 2003 were presented. A notion was made <br /> by FIs. Finton and seconded by Mr. Peoples to accept the minim as presented. The <br /> motion was adopted <br /> TREASURER'S REPORT: <br /> Budget to Actual and NarraMrs. Botsford provided a treasurer's report with regards to the <br /> bank accounts and the Budget to Actual Deport, prepared by the fee-accountant, which <br /> represented the tenth month of the fiscal year. Mrs. Botsford pointed out lir. Joy's report that, <br /> other than the over-run in the insurance lime item, there were no extraordinary expenditures <br /> and a l l other line items were within budget. <br /> Accounts Pa abJ :4 Payables totaling $10,973.95 were presented to the Board for review, <br /> approval and signatures. The warrant was presented to the chairperson for his signature. <br /> Rent Delinquencies: Mrs. Botsford Mated that all rents are paid in full at both Hornerer Village <br /> and Bey Acres. <br /> motion was made by Mr. Peoples and seconded by FIs. Finton to accept the <br /> treasurers report as presented. The motion was adopted. <br /> EXECUTIVE E DIRECTOR'S REPORT: <br /> Mrs. Botsford remarked that she had mailed her reports to the board for the month of April. It <br /> is attached to these minutes as&1=hme.,n_t_A- <br /> Mrs. <br /> Bot ford added the following report: <br /> • <br /> With Paul's passing away, the maintenance position has been advertised and until the <br /> position gets filled hers. Botsford is doing as much of the maintenance as she can, and <br /> contracting out the rest. <br /> Four residents have vacated Homeyer Village. one of the units has already been <br /> painted, cleaned and rented. one of the remaining three is in the process of being <br /> painted and cleaned, with the other two to follow. We have had to go through several <br /> people on the waiting list trying to fill these gree unitsf as they are all on the second <br /> floor. One has been fined and should lease up by the end of May and I am working on <br /> the other two. <br /> • i will be attending the Dass NAHRO spring conference at the Seacrst, which runs May <br /> 19.21. <br /> Page 1 of <br />
