I <br /> Mr. Halpe brought up the subject of the Community Preservation Act, which will be up for <br /> town vote in May. He volunteered to serve as the housing authority representative on the CPA, <br /> once formed. <br /> COMM INS FES N DENCE: Mrs. Botsford reported that she received <br /> notification today that vire have been approved to receive $ 2,896.15 from FEMA for <br /> reimbursement for the snowstorm expenses in January. She has signed all required documents <br /> and they will be mailed tomorrow. <br /> The next meeting will be Thursday, May 12j, 2005 at 5:30 PM. Mrs. Botsford reminded the <br /> members of the board retreat which is being held on Monday, May 9 from 4:00-8:00 PM at the <br /> senior center. <br /> motion was made by Mr, Halpern and seconded by Mr.r. Peoples to adjourn. The <br /> motion carried. The unit that was vacated at the <br /> beginning of February has been filled. One other resident moved out the last day of February. <br /> The new tenant that was selected changed her mind on the day she was to move in (March 12 <br /> so I had to start the process of selection again. The next person on the list has accepted the <br /> unit and will be moving i.n next week. The rugs are beyond cleaning and repair in this unit, so <br /> they will need to be replaced. Another tenant is roving to an assisted living facility and will be <br /> out by the IP of April. I am in the process of selecting the tenant for that unit. Bingo was <br /> offered, as usual. All inspections have all been done.. A regular quarterly meeting has been <br /> -� schedules-with At-this-meeti ng-I-wil I-r-eview-the-resident-ha ndbook-with — <br /> all residents. <br /> .„rem Acres/705: we had 10010 occupancy, It was discovered that one tenant had not <br /> reported an income change to the housing authority as required, so I did a retroactive rent <br /> adjustment. This tenant now owes us just over $1,200.00 for back rent. To date, she has not <br /> paid any of it. I have scheduled a conference with her next week to allow her the opportunity <br /> to rake a repayment agreement. I will keep you posted. <br /> Meetings att n !_e 1.
