• A waiting list update has been done and the wait lists have been reduced significantly, <br /> • As requested, I sent the letter to the selectmen regarding snow removal. I have not yet <br /> received a response, <br /> • DHCD will be conducting Audit Inspections on May 10. This involves"spot inspections' <br /> of five of our units— 3 at Homeyer Village and 2 at Breezy Acres. Residents selected <br /> have been notified. <br /> Earlier this month I submitted the 2004 annual report to the torn, <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> Asherjs Path FFP Issuance: Mrs. Botsford updated the board on the HUD 202 grant status. <br /> She reported that she had a -way telephone conference with Jim Polita at HUD and Jon Juhl <br /> from The Community Builders (TCB). The application, even though it was official scored, was <br /> reviewed. Bottom line was that in order to submit a stronger application for funding, the HA's <br /> non-profit Mashpee Affordable Housing Trust) reeds to partner more with the Mashpee <br /> War npano g and gain strong support for the project. It was suggested that at least one more <br /> I ar panoag join the MAHT board and preferably an elderly person. The HUD 202 grant is due <br /> early this year— May 31 — and there is not enough time-to accomplish this task before then. It <br /> looks like the application will have to wait until 2006, A short discussion ensued regarding this <br /> project. <br /> Request for letter of support! ABKJJTf c�B project; After short discussion, it was decided <br /> to send a letter-to the developers stressing our hope that they would collaborate with the local <br /> housing authority and/or it's nonprofit for management of the units, and to support the MHA <br /> administering any Section 8 vouchers that are used for the project.. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> ESS: <br /> closirno of Waiting fists: Mrs. Botsford stated that she has conducted a gaiting list update and <br /> many applicants were removed from this list. currently the 667 list is in fairly good shape, with <br /> only 21 people 'on it. The 705 list, however,, is extremely long with 63 people on it, With only <br /> six units of 705 housing, it is a 10-15 year wait, The same is true with the MRVP Project Based <br /> one bedroom list. A motion was made by Mr. Peoples and seconded by Mr. Halpern t <br /> close the 705 and MRVP PrDje t Based one bedroom lists. The .notion was adopted. <br /> Update of Maintenance charges PoliCy: Mrs. Botsford reviewed the current Maintenance <br /> Charges Policy with the board and s.Oggested changing in. cording to reflect the actual costs <br /> - . involved. -A motion was made_by Mr.�Peoples.a nd-sewnded-by-l_ r..-HaIpern- o-delete-,_- R- -- —- <br /> the wording reflecting the per-hoar charge and replace It with "All charges will be <br /> calculated at the current Maintenance Laborer's hourly rate of pay, plus materials, <br /> plus any sub-contractor costs, if applicable". The motion was adopted <br /> Quarterly deport Statement: Mrs. Botsford reviewed the Quarterly Report, which Torn Joy has <br /> prepared and submitted to DHCD. A certification form was circulated for signature.
