adopt the new Section 8 Fair Market Rents at a rate of 110% effective immediately, The <br /> notion carried.. <br /> Fee Accountant's Contract: Mrs. Botsford stated that the Fee Accountant's contract is set to be renewed <br /> at the next board meeting and confirmed that the board was agreeable to another tiro-year contract. <br /> Fiscal Policies & Procedures: Mrs. Botsford pointed out that this policy and procedure hasn't been <br /> updated since 2000. The only change suggested was, under accounts payable, to reduce the allowable <br /> spending amount for the executive director without board approval to go from $5,000 to $2,500 per the <br /> recommendation of the auditors. After a brief discussion a notion was made by Mr. Homeyer, <br /> which was seconded by Mr. Halpern, to adopt the neer Fiscal policies & Procedures which the <br /> changes. The notion carried. <br /> la sNAHo Pe itiorr: Mrs. Botsford stated that this was the petition that she had emailed to the board <br /> for consideration, along with the memorandum from MassNAHRO explaining it. Mrs. Botsford stated that <br /> since she had been elected as President of the Small Housing Authority Directors organization she felt it <br /> was particularly important that this board to sign the petition. A motion was made by Mr. Laporte, <br /> which was seconded by Mr, Halpern, to sign the petition as an appeal for salary equity. The <br /> motion carried. <br /> OTHER BUSINESS: <br /> ESS: <br /> CPAICommunitv Preservation Act updatgjRepQrt from liaison: Mr. Halpern Mated that he'd reported on <br /> everything earlier in the meeting. <br /> COMMUNICATIONS/CORRESPONDENCE: Mrs. Botsford Mated that today she got a letter from <br /> ella Eli enberry, Chair of the Mashpee Affordable Housing Committee. The MAHC has asked for her <br /> recommendation of ars individual from the housing authority to serve on the newly created Mashpee <br /> Affordable Housing Trust Fund. It is her understanding that she cannot serve because she does not live <br /> in Mashpee. After a short discussion, no members showed an interest in serving on the Mashpee <br /> Affordable Housing Frust fund committee. Mrs. Botsford will relay this to Ms. Eli enberry. <br /> Mr. Laporte stated that he wished to compliment Mrs. Botsford on a really good newsletter this month. <br /> He said that it was a really quality publication and he enjoyed it. <br /> The next regular meeting is scheduled for Thursday, November 9,. 2006 at 5:30 PM. A motion was <br /> made by Nor. Homeyer and seconded by Mr. Laporte to Homeyer to adjourn. Carbon Monoxide <br /> detectors have all been installed at Homeyer village. <br /> BrgmAcres/705: The same Breezy Acres resident that did not paid her rent for September has given <br /> notice to move out by October.
