Stuart Peoples, David Har ch, and Dan <br /> Homeyer. Also in attendance: Leila Botsford, Executive Director/Board Secretary, and Tom Joy, Fee <br /> Accountant. ' <br /> There was no public comment. <br /> SECRETARY'S REPORT: <br /> T: <br /> Minutes for the regular meeting held on December 1 , were presented. rx�o i gra � <br /> I <br /> Mr. Laporte and seconded by Mr. Halpern to accept the minutes as printed. The motion was <br /> adopted. <br /> FISCAL YEA 2007 BUDGET R&SUB ITTAL: DHCD has not approved our budget as submitted. <br /> They will not go above the 7% cap figure for salary rine items.Tom Joy explained the different options <br /> the board has for re-submittal of the fiscal year 2007 budget. Mr. Soy stated that the total we need for <br /> administrative salaries is about $55,526,00, for the executive director and the administrative assistant. <br /> The state is willing to contribute about $38,000.00. We have approximately $5,4000.00.in Section <br /> mobility monies, which can be contributed to salaries. Since the maintenance man is only working about <br /> I <br /> 10 houlr f.:the.18'K66r budgeted p i dn, th 'rNs appr `rrn tel 4$7,400.00 left in that line item. The <br /> 'er crinin ,.rr oney"need d of Rapprox1mately..$4,300.00 :a be contributed*from•the'Asher's math'project. <br /> Currently we have $10,000.00 from E.A. Fish for a lease payment. Another $15,000.00 will be paid after <br /> the c h truction loan closes. The housing authority will not see a management fee for the Asher's Path <br /> 'j <br /> project Until approximately 2010, but the $25,000.00 we' will have ,until then h ul be enough to carry' <br /> part of the administrative staff salary line-iter. In 2010 Asher's Path management fees will be <br /> approximately $20,000.00 per year pigs monies for administration/maintenance salaries. There will also � <br /> be opportunities for bonuses if the project stags within budget and has successful audits, There was a <br /> board discussion about the administrative salary line item and the prorations, and how to re-submit the <br /> budget to DHCD for approval. Since Mrs. Botsford is doing the work to help the maintenance department <br /> i.e. cleaning and janitorial duties, as well as light shoveling and landscaping), the board will be <br /> requesting DHD to alloy us to contribute than money to her salary and to approve the requested salary <br /> amounts: A motion was made by Mr. Laporte and.seconded by Mr. Halpern to resubmit the <br /> budget to DHCD with-the adjusted proration. The motion was adopted. <br /> Tr EASU EWREPORT: <br /> T: <br /> Budget to Actual and Narrative: Mrs. Botsford provided a treasurer's report including the bank account <br /> report and the Budget to Actual Report, prepared by the fee-accountant, which represents through the <br /> sixth month of the fiscal year.
