A quorum was declared with the <br /> following-members present: David:Harsch,. Richard Halpern, Francis Laporte,, E. Stuart Peoples'. and Dan <br /> Homeyer. Also in attendance: Leila Botsford, Executive Director/Board Secretary. <br /> There was no public comment. <br /> SECRETARY'S REPORT: <br /> Minutes for the regular meeting held on April 12, 2007 were presented. A motion was made by Mr. <br /> Laporte and seconded by Mr. Halpern to accept the minutes as printed. The motion was <br /> adopted. <br /> TREASURER'S REPORT: <br /> Budget to Actual and Narrative: Mrs. Botsford provided a treasurers report including the bank account <br /> report and the.Budget to Actual Report, prepared by the fee-accountant, which represents through the <br /> tenth month of the fiscal year. She reviewed the budget to actual and provided an-explanation for <br /> variances: <br /> Accounts Payables: .-.Mrs::Botsford.,stated.that'the first.morith''of-on-line.bi I F-p a_ anent.has Woir'ked out <br /> great. The warrants for the 4001 account, MRVP account, and Section 8 account were presented to the <br /> board for review and signatures. Accounts payables were: .$18,034.97 for 4001, $4592.00 for Section 8, <br /> and 18729.00 for MRVP. <br /> Rent Delinguencies: Mrs. Botsford stated that all rents are paid in full and we are at 10010 occupancy at <br /> both developments. A motion was made by Mr. Laporte and seconded by Mr. Halpern to accept <br /> the treasurers report as presented. The motion was adopted. <br /> EXECUTIVE IRE "TOW REPORT: <br /> Mrs. Botsford remarked that she had mailed her reports to the board for the month of April and it is <br /> attached to these minutes as Attachment A , <br /> Mrs. Botsford provided an additional short written report, which was discussed. The report was as <br /> follows: <br /> a I have filed in small claims for a tenant that left owing $766.00 in rent and had made <br /> arrangements to repay but didn't. Our court date is July 25. I'll keep you posted. <br /> 0 All documents have been executed for the Asher's Path financing (I went into Boston today). <br /> Construction is moving right along on schedule. Invitations for the June I"ground breaking"will <br /> be going out soon. <br /> 0 1 have registered to attend the training on the Low Income Housing Tax Credits program for the <br /> week of July 16 in Austin, TX. <br /> 0 1will be attending the MassNAHRO spring conference May 21-23. On behalf of HADO (Small <br /> Housing Authority Directors Organization) I will be doing a presentation on Tenant handbooks. <br /> In addition. HADO will be receiving an award from the Board of MassNAHRO. <br /> 0 We received the official letter from the auditor's office regarding the fact that we had a successful <br /> audit— no findings.
